Virginia Metalcrafters William & Mary CW10-11, Williamsburg Brass Trivet 1950

Beautiful mid-century solid brass trivet manufactured by the highly collectible foundry, Virginia Metalcrafters. This piece replicates the historical William & Mary interlocking monogram cipher used during the colonial era. The face features a high-polished, sculptural design with decorative open spaces. The underside is fully authorized, displaying crisp, cast hallmarks including the Virginia Metalcrafters logo, Colonial Williamsburg stamp, CW 10-11 model identifier, and the Copyright 1950 mark.  Condition Notes: This trivet is in very good vintage condition with a wonderful aged patina. The brass has a warm, deep golden tone with visible minor oxidation and light surface verdigris on the back, preserving its rich antique character. The structure is completely solid with no bends, cracks, or repairs. All four small peg feet remain completely intact and level.
