Description
Beautiful vintage Italian silver-plated centerpiece basket featuring a striking radiating sunburst wire design and raised center bowl. Marked MP ITALY with horse/animal-head maker’s logo and retains its original SILVER PLATED foil label. The sculptural oval shape has a fantastic Mid-Century Modern / Italian Modern look and displays beautifully from every angle. Perfect as a fruit or bread basket, dining table centerpiece, bar cart display, vanity catchall, or simply as a sculptural piece of vintage decor. Vintage condition with age-related surface scratches, tarnish/patina, spotting and areas of finish wear as shown. I have left the original patina intact rather than heavily polishing it. Please review photos for condition.
