【Manufacturer Refurbished】PS3 Early Model, Maintained, Fully Functional

Thank you for viewing. We kindly ask you to read our profile.

The very first models (CECHA00, CECHB00) were packed with such high functionality that they were said to incur a 30,000 yen loss with each sale. These high-performance units can play PlayStation 1, 2, and 3 games, as well as Blu-ray, DVD, CD, and SACD discs.
*The drive has been replaced with a later model through manufacturer repair.

[Capacitor Replacement]

Approximately 70% of YLOD (in my research) is caused by insufficient capacity due to degraded capacitors. We have replaced one capacitor on the CPU (Cell) side and two on the GPU (RSX) side.

We are using the same type of capacitors found in the slim PS3 models (CECH4000~).

[Die Cutting]

The heat spreader has been removed to directly access the CPU (Cell) and GPU (RSX), and the thermal grease has been reapplied. This suppresses solder cracks caused by heat, which is another major factor in YLOD, and also results in quieter fan operation.

*As you can see from videos and other resources, both of these procedures are quite difficult and time-consuming. However, the effect is comparable to that of a new unit, and you will rarely find other listings that have undergone such extensive work.

Furthermore, as expected, the circuit board, the inside of the drive, and the fan blades have all been thoroughly cleaned.
We are using thermal grease with a thermal conductivity of 11.7 Wm-k.

Model Number: CECHB00
Firmware: 4.92
Manufactured in China
HDD: 20GB → 500GB

Accessories Included:

Power Cable
HDMI Cable (New)
USB Cable
SIXAXIS

Only the very first models (CECHA00, CECHB00) can play PS2 games, but some titles may not be compatible.

*Due to the specifications of the early models, game startup rates may be lower when the console is placed vertically. There are no issues when placed horizontally.

With the included accessories, you can start playing right away.
We have replaced the standard AV cable with a high-definition HDMI cable and upgraded the HDD to a large-capacity 500GB drive.

We have minimized the risk of malfunction.
However, please understand that this is an old unit from 19 years ago before making your purchase.
