Vintage Gem Silver Micromatic Open Comb - Single Edge Safety Razor in Bakelite C

Vintage Gem Silver Micromatic Open Comb - Single Edge Safety Razor in Bakelite Case Vintage from the 1930s Materials: Metal, Plastic  Beautiful vintage GEM Micromatic Razor - safety razor. This was likely made somewhere around the 1930's and is a very sturdy razor. It comes with an original GEM blade which has a little bit of rust, and would need a good cleaning in order to be safely used—but it's a great display piece and would be lovely to add to a vintage shaving collection along with the razor! This razor itself is ready for action, and should work with modern single edge blades.  The spring that closes and opens the head still has good tension, the comb is completely intact, and the handle threads on and stays tight. There is some surface wear and minor scratching, but overall, this piece is in good vintage condition. It sits in a French Ivory Bakelite hinged box with a place to dispose of used blades.
