Kendo Kendo Bogu Do Kawari Nuri Mushikui Nuri-fu Do 50-Hon Gata Resin Do

Resin Do (Body Protector) - 50-Piece Model, Insect-Eaten Lacquer Finish
Two-Legged, Diagonal Stitching

This is a used resin do that was disassembled, point-painted with water-based paint, and hardened with urethane clear coat.
It was made referencing images of insect-eaten lacquer finishes. The result is a dignified do that is rarely found in commercially available 50-piece models.

The tying cords, edge leather, and breastplate cords have been replaced with new ones and reassembled. The breastplate is used, so there are scuffs on the sides and inside.
After completion, it was used three times for short periods to test the paint's durability. There are no signs of peeling or cracking, and it should be fine for use.

Opening Width: 39 cm
Height: 38 cm
Breastplate: Turned Edge

The tying cords were assembled using thicker grab laces than standard ones, giving it a more rugged appearance.

I am selling this due to equipment reorganization, but I believe it is a very good item.

For those interested in unique lacquer finishes, how about this as a second do?

I primarily sell items that have been stored at home. There may be minor scratches or oversights. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly meticulous.
