Nike Mind 001 Women Pale Pink Slip-On Slides with Orange Dot Insoles

Women Nike Mind 001 slip-on sporty and stylish slides by Nike. Pale pink upper with bright orange dotted insoles. Lightweight and easy to wear. Foam-like cushioned sole for comfort. The science behind the Nike Mind 001 relies on tactile stimulation, mechanoreceptor mapping, and sensorimotor activation. Developed by the Nike Mind Science Department, the shoe uses 22 independent underfoot foam nodes to stimulate the brain and body connection. Tactile Feedback and Node MappingReceptor Density: The soles of human feet contain 10 to 20 times more mechanoreceptors than most other body areas. Two-Point Discrimination: Nike neuroscientists mapped receptor density using the two-point discrimination threshold (measuring how far apart touches must be to feel separate). Placement: The 22 dynamic nodes are placed closer together in the forefoot (where sensitivity is highest) and spaced wider apart in the heel. Neurological ResponsePiston Movement: As you step, the 22 independent foam nodes move up and down independently, acting like pistons to compress and translate force against the footbed. Sensorimotor Activation: This dynamic tactile feedback stimulates the sensorimotor network in the brain while helping disengage the default mode network to reduce mental distractions. Alpha Oscillations: Testing using human EEG, electromyography, and plantar-pressure sensors reportedly showed shifts in alpha brain rhythms linked to relaxed alertness and presence of mind.
