【Scroll Painting】Landscape Painting: Mountain and Waterfall Scene with Figures, Early to Mid-Showa Period, Mounted with Fabric and Scroll Ends

Thank you for viewing.

This is a hanging scroll featuring a landscape painting depicting mountains, a waterfall, a river, a bridge, figures, plants, and houses.
The painting softly portrays misty mountain ranges and flowing water, evoking a tranquil scenic beauty.

In the center of the painting, a waterfall and river are depicted, surrounded by houses and trees. Figures can also be seen crossing a bridge.
The distant mountains and the nearby waterscape are harmoniously rendered, creating a beautiful overall composition when hung.
The scroll features calligraphy at the top and an artist's signature and seal at the bottom, embodying the classic atmosphere of a landscape hanging scroll.

It is mounted with fabric and includes roller ends.
A paper box is not included.
The painting itself maintains its visual appeal and gives the impression of being an easy-to-handle landscape scroll that can be enjoyed as a decorative piece.

Due to age, there are stains, yellowing, and dirt on the entire mounting.
The back shows significant spot-like stains, and there is damage and tearing around the hanging cord.
The main paper also has light stains, creases, and signs of age, so it is recommended for those who understand and appreciate antique hanging scrolls.

This scroll is suitable for those looking for a landscape hanging scroll, an old painting that complements a Japanese-style room, or a calm landscape piece.
