This item was given to me by a friend several years ago.
I have displayed it on a stand for several years, but I am selling it to organize my collection.
My friend mentioned that it was used for some practice before I received it. Therefore, while not noticeable overall, there are some minor signs of age-related deterioration and slight scratches on the blade.
I was told by my friend that the scabbard's color is a special technique called Wakasa-nuri, which originally cost around 120,000 to 130,000 yen.
Before I received it, the scabbard's opening was loose, so my friend repaired it by adding a wooden shim.
I believe this item is perfectly suitable for practical use.
It is ideal for demonstrations and practice.
